Currach Cove Apartments, Kilkee
The project involved the refurbishment and conversion of the existing hotel building into 18 apartments. The scheme provided for 6 large apartments and 12 smaller apartments, spread over three floors. The works included some structural alterations, stripping out of existing ground floor, removal of existing partitions (ground floor), removal and replacement of finishes, upgrading of toilet facilitates and services, new partitions (largely at ground floor level), the provision of a new external walkway at 1st and 2nd floor levels to the rear elevation, new stair/lift core to rear of building, provision of some new windows, new internal doors throughout, new sanitary ware and kitchens throughout, minor external works.
