Senior Quantity Surveyor

Requirements:
– Chartered Member of SCSI
At Least 8 Years Experience
– Excellent team player whilst also holding the ability to work independently on their own initiative
– Ability to encourage and support junior members of the Commercial Team


Responsibilities
– The successful candidate will be working on a number of large scale developments which may be at various stages from design, tender, site and final account.
– The ideal candidate will have a strong background in measurement, procurement, estimating, tender evaluations, onsite cost management, dealing with subcontractors and attending design team meetings.
– Preparation of estimates and cost plans for variety of projects using Buildsoft/Cubit/Mudshark software
– Preparation of standard documentation – reports, valuations, letters, financial reports
– Preparation of tender documents and measurement of BOQ’s in ARM4
– Analysis of tenders and preparing tender reports at all stages of procurement
– Prepare valuations and cost reports; re-measure as necessary and adjust variations
– Prepare and agree final account

Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

Requirements:
– Chartered Member of SCSI (or working towards it)
At Least 5 Years Experience
– Excellent team player whilst also holding the ability to work independently on their own initiative
– Ability to encourage and support junior members of the Commercial Team

– Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying
At Least 2 Years Experience
– Excellent team player whilst also holding the ability to work independently on their own initiative
– Ability to assist members of the Commercial Team

– The successful candidate will be working on a number of large scale developments which may be at various stages from design, tender, site and final account.
– The ideal candidate will have a strong background in measurement, procurement, estimating, tender evaluations, onsite cost management, dealing with subcontractors and attending design team meetings.
