The social housing project focuses on the refurbishment and upgrade of existing residential apartments to meet the evolving needs of the community. With a commitment to enhancing livability, safety, and energy efficiency, the project involves converting 18 No. 1 bedroom units into 12 No. 2 bedroom units. Extensive fireproofing and thermal upgrade works are undertaken to improve building resilience and energy performance, ensuring that residents benefit from comfortable and secure living environments. Additionally, associated siteworks are carried out to complement the building upgrades and enhance the overall functionality and aesthetics of the site.

The project involves the reconfiguration and refurbishment of existing residential units to accommodate larger households and provide improved living spaces. The conversion from 1 bedroom units to 2 bedroom units involves thoughtful redesign and layout optimization to maximize space utilization and functionality. Each refurbished unit is equipped with modern amenities and finishes, ensuring comfort, convenience, and quality of life for residents.

Extensive fireproofing upgrades are implemented to enhance the fire safety of the residential building and mitigate the risk of fire-related hazards. Measures such as the installation of fire-resistant materials, compartmentation systems, fire doors, and smoke detection systems are employed to meet or exceed regulatory requirements and ensure the safety and well-being of residents. Fireproofing works are meticulously executed to minimize disruption to residents and preserve the architectural integrity of the building.

Energy-efficient upgrades are incorporated to improve the thermal performance of the building envelope and reduce heat loss, resulting in lower energy consumption and utility costs for residents. Measures such as insulation installation, window replacements, and air sealing are implemented to enhance thermal comfort and indoor air quality while reducing carbon emissions and environmental impact. The thermal upgrade works contribute to a healthier, more sustainable living environment and align with broader goals of energy conservation and climate action.
