Bunratty Castle Hotel

A fire occurred in Bunratty Castle Hotel in June 2021 and works were subsequently undertaken to rebuild, upgrade and repair the part of the hotel which was damaged during the fire, along with other areas. The works comprised of the demolition of the existing bar, restaurant and kitchen area and the construction of a new bar, restaurant, kitchen area and new function room. All new constructed areas were fully fitted out as part of the work. The Project was split into 3 phases to ensure that sections of the hotel could be brought back into operation as soon as possible. All phases are now complete. 
 
Works were completed within a tight timeframe in order to get bedrooms and kitchen operational for use for Ukrainian Refugees. Phase 3 works were completed within a Live Environment
 
 
Combined project costs are €8.5m.
